SC Collegium recommends appointing Vinai Kumar Dwivedi, Judicial Officer as Allahabad HC Judge

On 6-10-2025, the Supreme Court Collegium, led by CJI B.R. Gavai, approved the proposal for appointment of Vinai Kumar Dwivedi, Judicial Officer, as a Judge of the High Court of Judicature at Allahabad.

Currently, Allahabad High Court’s working judicial strength is 110 against sanctioned strength of 160, with 50 vacancies¹.
