The President in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 223 of the Constitution of India, appointed Shri Justice Nongmeikapam Kotiswar Singh, senior-most Judge of Manipur High Court, to perform the duties of the office of the Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from 23rd February, 2018 consequent upon the retirement of Shrimati Justice Abhilasha Kumari, Chief Justice, Manipur High Court.
