On 24-03-2015, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Sunil Ambwani took oath as the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court. He was born on 23-08-1953 and graduated in Law from University of Allahabad in the year 1975. He enrolled himself as an Advocate on 08-04-1976 and thereafter practiced at Allahabad High Court during the period 1976-1985 and at Supreme Court during the period 1985-1992 on Civil and Constitutional side. He served as Special Counsel, High Court since 1998-2001 and was elevated as permanent Judge on 24-04-2001. He also served as the Chairman, Allahabad High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court and State Mediation Monitoring Committee and Computerization Committee, High Court and State e-Court Steering Committee. Later, he assumed the charge as a Judge in the Rajasthan High Court on 30-07-2014, and was appointed Acting Chief Justice in the same Court on 06-08-2014.
