CBIL NLUO Blog Submissions

The Centre for Banking and Insurance Laws (CBIL) is pleased to announce the commencement of our blog article aimed at fostering research and informed discourse on contemporary legal issues in the field of banking, finance and insurance laws.

We are inviting submissions for our blog series on a rolling basis. The Centre welcomes contributions from scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students on diverse themes relating to banking, insurance, and financial laws.

Submissions should present insightful analysis, critical perspectives, and innovative solutions addressing contemporary developments, regulatory challenges, and emerging trends in the banking, finance, taxation, insurance and allied sectors.

The Centre for Banking and Insurance Laws (‘CBIL’) at National Law University Odisha (‘NLUO’) is dedicated to advancing research, knowledge, and capacity building in Banking, Insurance, Insolvency, and Fintech Laws. Backed by NLUO’s academic support, the Centre blends rigorous scholarship with practical exposure. CBIL endeavours to nurture a culture of critical analysis, focusing on deepening understanding of policies, regulatory mechanisms, and other legal domains at the state, national, and international levels.

The launch of our blog is a step in our mission to foster awareness and understanding of Banking and Insurance Laws among students and the wider legal community. Our vision is to be at the forefront of providing comprehensive education, promoting research, and engaging in discussions on crucial legal issues in the domain of banking and insurance.

Submission Guidelines

  • All submissions are to be made via Google Form. Submissions made via any other means would not be considered a valid submission.

  • Word limit: Articles can be anywhere between 1500 to 2000 words. In case a relaxation in word count is required, please write to us so that we can consider your request.

  • Manuscripts that have already been submitted or published elsewhere shall not be submitted. Manuscripts need to be the original work of the author. Similarity must not exceed 20%.
