Scheduled Dates for AIBE-XX (2025)

Here’s a breakdown of the AIBE-XX timeline the candidates need to know:

AIBE is conducted to assess the capability of law graduates to practice law professionally. Passing the AIBE is mandatory for obtaining a Certificate of Practice (CoP), which allows advocates to appear in courts across India.

Passing Criteria:

• Unreserved Candidates: Minimum 45%

• Reserved & Disabled Candidates: Minimum 40%

Eligible Candidates for AIBE-XX (2025)¹:

1. Final-Year LL.B. Students (Without Backlogs):

   • Must be in the final semester of a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. course.

   • Must be studying at a BCI-recognised university or college.

   • Must not have any backlogs from previous semesters.

2. Law Graduates who have not yet obtained their degree:

   • Completed their LL.B. course but are awaiting degree conferral.

   • Must be from a BCI-recognised university or affiliated college.

3. Graduates who have obtained their degree but are not enrolled or have surrendered enrolment:

   • Have an LL.B. degree but haven’t enrolled with any State Bar Council.

   • Or have surrendered their enrolment certificate.

4. Ineligible Candidates:

   • Anyone studying or graduated from a non-BCI-recognised institution is not eligible.

   • Candidates must verify their institution’s recognition status with the BCI
