Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas is advising New Delhi Television Limited (“NDTV“) on the acquisition of the ‘Goodtimes’ channel from Lifestyle & Media Broadcasting Limited (“LMBL“) (“Transaction“).
The GoodTimes channel operates in the broadcasting and programming sector with a focus on lifestyle-oriented content, including entertainment, fashion, food and travel. This acquisition will strengthen NDTV’s strategic positioning in the broadcasting industry, diversify and expand its operational capabilities and enhance long-term stakeholder value.
The transaction is led by Jay Parikh, Partner; with support from Saranya Lal, Senior Associate; and Yashaanki Kora, Associate.
The Digital+ team comprising Pooja Kapadia, Partner; and Diksha Arora, Associate is assisting on media and regulatory aspects of the transaction.
