The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has launched an “eNPS -Government”, A New On-boarding feature to ease the process of registration by Government Sector employees vide circular dated August 23, 2021. The new digital initiative provides an option to the Government Sector employees to register under NPS through ‘eNPS-Government’ in order to provide a convenient and paperless on- boarding experience. It also provides step by step process for registration using Aadhar or PAN through online or offline modes.
It shall provide a convenient and paperless onboarding experience. The proposed digital platform shall also enable Inter Sector Shifting (ISS) of existing Subscribers of other sectors to seamlessly transfer their NPS account into Government Sector.
