COVID-19 | Bom HC | “Lockdown is still on; Complete access to justice yet at a distance” | Interim orders extended till 15th July, 2020

Bombay High Court: A Full Court of B.P. Dharmadhikari, CJ and A.A. Sayed, S.S. Shinde and K.K. Tated, JJ. on noting the fact that lockdown is still not over and Complete access to justice is yet at a distance, extended  all the interim orders till 15th July, 2020.

Clarification:

The present order shall not have any application in respect of matters where interim orders have been passed, which are to be in operation until further orders of the relevant Courts or to orders, which have been modified/varied/vacated after April 15, 2020. Liberty is, however, reserved for a party to apply for vacating of the interim order by making an application before the appropriate Court.

Further the Court added that any order or decree for eviction/dispossession/ demolition which has been passed by any court/tribunal/authority subsequent to the order dated March 26, 2020, shall also remain in abeyance till July 15, 2020.
