The President in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 217 of the Constitution of India, appointed Shri Lok Pal Singh, and Shri Manoj Kumar Tiwari, to be Judges of the Uttaranchal High Court, in that order of seniority, with effect from the date they assume charge of their respective offices.
The President in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 224 of the Constitution of India, appointed Shri Sharad Kumar Sharma, to be an Additional Judge of the Uttaranchal High Court, for a period of two years with effect from the date he assumes charge of his office.
