ILS to organise Colloquium on Contemporary Issues in the Financial Sector 2.0

The ILS Corporate Law Cell is organizing a one day Colloquium on “Contemporary Issues in the Financial Sector” on 18^th February, 2017 [Saturday]. This Colloquium endeavours to provide deep insights into select current issues in the financial sector by way of an academic discourse and also simplify its complexities. Last year 2016, was the first edition of the Corporate Law Cell’s Colloquium which had a turnout of around 300 student participants from various law schools.

Structure of the Colloquium

Session I: Panel Debate on Abolition of Income Tax in light of introducing the Goods and Services Tax and the Banking Transaction Tax.

Session II: Regulatory and Competitive Challenges in the Banking Sector.

Session III: Deconstructing the Takeover Code.

Time: 4.00 PM
