National Colloquium

Realizing the ever widening application of law and to neutralize the ongoing intrigue and bickering challenges taking place all through, it has been inevitavle to revisit ‘the structural and operational facets’ of law and to draw inference for innovative research. In this regard,  RGSOIPL is organizing a three-dav National Colloquium on ‘Emerging Paradigms and Challenges in Interdisciplinary Legal Research’ on March 24-26, 2017. The colloquium will provide a forum for faculty, research scholars and Master’s degree students, enrolled in various Universities & Law Schools, who are interested to pursue their career in academics and research. This colloquium will provide a unique platform for intensive deliberations on various aspects of interdisciplinary legal research and methodology with leading academicians. The prime objective of the colloquium is to acquaint participants with different facets, dynamics, and emerging trends in interdisciplinary legal research and methodology from the stage of formulation of a research problem to report writing and to equip them with the requisite skills to (re)shape their research problem (if necessary), pursue it in a systematic and effective manner and present it in an impressive manner. The colloquium will also provide an opportunity to the budding academicians to discuss their research proposals with the experts.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission: Abstracts are invited from legal researchers on any of the above themes and related therewith. Researchers are also encouraged to submit original contributions pertaining to their area of research focusing on the methodology of the work. The abstract should not exceed 300 words.

Some points to remember:

Participants: Faculty Members of Law Schools, Colleges and Universities are invited to participate in the colloquium. Ph.D and LL.M students are also encouraged to join.

Registration: Registration must be done immediately after receipt of acceptance of abstract. Researchers who intend to participate, and not make presentations, are required to send only duly filled in Registration Form with fees.

Acceptance of Abstracts:                     Feb 28, 2017

Submission of full paper:                      March 13, 2017

Registration Deadline:                          March 13, 2017

Registration fee details: Registration fee includes two days of accommodation, lunch and reference materials. Participants shall bear their own expenses for other meals and in case of extending their stay in the campus.
