National Law School of India University, Bangalore wins Ghanshyam Singh Memorial Debates, 2016

The sixth edition of the Ghanshyam Singh Memorial Debates were organised from the 20th-23rd of October, 2016 by the National Law University, Delhi. A total of 42 teams comprising of law colleges as well as others, participated in the tournament. The National Law School of India University, Bangalore (comprising of Siddharth Aatreya, Abhishek Choudhary and Aniruddh Nigam), were the winning team followed by St. Stephen’s College, Delhi (comprising of (Raghav Adlakha, Namrata Narula and Aditya Srinivasan) as the runner’s up. The winning team was also be awarded a prize money of Rs. 45,000. The Best Adjudicators of the tournament was awarded to Saloni (Hindu College), Tanusmita Ghosal (NUJS), Shruti (SRCC), Pankhuri (JGLS), and Sushant (SRCC). While no official individual speaker awards are given, the highest cumulative score was of Namrata Narula, from SSC.
