The President in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, appointed Justice Rajeev Sharma, Judge of the Himachal Pradesh High Court, as the Judge of the Uttaranchal High Court and directed him to assume charge of his office in the Uttaranchal High Court on or before 29th September, 2016.
