The President appointed Shri Justice Rakesh Ranjan Prasad, senior-most Judge of the Manipur High Court, to perform the duties of the office of Chief Justice of that High Court with effect from 10th June, 2016 consequent upon the retirement of Shri Justice Laxmi Kanta Mohapatra,Chief Justice, Manipur High Court.
