In a significant development in India’s legal-tech landscape, Online Legal India has onboarded former High Court Judge, Justice S. K. Katriar, as a mediator and arbitrator on its Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.

Justice Katriar brings with him decades of experience in the legal profession. Enrolled with the Bihar State Bar Council in 1973, he practised extensively before the Supreme Court of India and the Patna High Court. He was designated as a Senior Advocate in 1996 and was elevated to the Bench of the Patna High Court in 1999, where he served until his retirement in 2011.

Post-retirement, Justice Katriar has remained actively engaged in arbitration and mediation, serving on panels of several institutional and public sector bodies, including Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, GAIL (India) Limited, and MMTC Limited.

His association with Online Legal India underscores the growing convergence of seasoned legal expertise with technology-driven dispute resolution mechanisms.
