Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is organizing Bharat Ratna Late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee MNLU-CS 4th National Youth Parliament, 2026 by MNLU Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. (28th-29th March, 2026)

ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY: MAHARASHTRA NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, CHHATRAPATI SAMBHAJINAGAR

The Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar was established under Act No. VI of 2014 by the State Legislature of Maharashtra. The University commenced its academic activities from March 16, 2017. The University has its own 50 acres lush green campus situated in Kanchanwadi at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar. By virtue of the Statute, the Chief Justice of India or his nominee is the Chancellor of the University, and the Chief Justice of the High Court of Bombay is the Pro-Chancellor of the University. The Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is established with intent to impart quality legal education, to develop advanced clinical pedagogies and research. The University also imbibes values of the legal profession coupled with professional dynamism to meet global standards. Hon’ble Shri Justice Prasanna B. Varale, Judge, Supreme Court of India is the Chancellor of the University. Hon’ble Justice Shree Chandrashekhar, the Chief Justice, High Court of Bombay is the Pro-Chancellor of the University.

The Maharashtra National Law University, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar always tries for overall personal and professional development of students through various curricular and co-curricular activities. As a part of this, the University organises guest lectures, seminars, conferences, workshops, symposiums etc. on various contemporary legal issues and invites distinguished legal luminaries, eminent academicians and celebrated personalities across the country.

ABOUT THE CENTRE

The Centre for Public Law, MNLU-CS was established in 2022 with the aim of disseminating thorough knowledge and developing critical thinking of Public Law among students. Its aim is to provide the students with the current trends and ongoing developments in the field of Public Law. This includes talks on policies and schemes of the Executive, Bills passed by the Legislature, and the Judgements delivered by the Judiciary. The Centre has undertaken research initiatives in the domain of transgender rights and inclusivity and is currently working on generating literature in the broader domain of socio-economic paradigms.

ABOUT THINK INDIA

Think India — A pan India initiative to bring together the best talents of the country and to infuse in them a ‘Nation First’ attitude, aimed at developing the nationalistic spirit and inspiring young India to be of service to the society. It is a platform for the “Leaders of Tomorrow” where they deliberate on issues of national importance, raise their concerns and offer innovative solutions to the problems faced by India.

Think India felt the need to bind the students with an Indian nationalistic string to harness this part of national treasure in furthering our aim of national reconstruction. Students from IISc, IIMB, NIMHANS and NLSIU joined together to create a joint forum for the students from premier institutes of India in 2006. A formal forum took place at the Art of Living Ashram, Bengaluru in 2007.

ABOUT THE 4th NATIONAL YOUTH PARLIAMENT, 2026

This year’s edition will comprise of five committees which will be Lok Sabha, Vidhan Sabha, the Historic Crisis Committee, the Ambassadors’ Meet and the Indian Press. The Lok Sabha Committee will engage in deliberations on the Electoral Integrity, with specific reference to Special Intensive Revision and Voter Verification, the Vidhan Sabha will have deliberation on the Maharashtra Special Public Security Bill, 2024, The Historic Crisis Committee’s deliberation is currently classified and shall be revealed very soon, The Ambassadors’ Meet will hold deliberation on developing a coordinated global approach to ongoing international oil politics and energy insecurity with reference to Venezuela Crisis, The Indian Press committee will be comprising of photographers, journalists, and cartoonists who will play a pivotal role in documenting, analysing, and portraying the discussions being held in the different committees.

Eligibility

Any Bonafide high school student, who is currently in any grade ranging from 9th to 12th in any recognised school and any Bonafide student who is enrolled in any undergraduate programme in any recognised college or university or institution can register.

Registration Details

  • The interested participants can register by submitting the registration form mentioned at the end of this post.

Registration Fees:

I) With Food and Accommodation:

a) For Individual Participation – ₹ 3,000/-

b) For Group Delegation:

i) For 5 participants – ₹ 13,000/-

ii) For 10 participants – ₹ 25,000/-

II) With Food and without Accommodation:

a) For Individual Participation – ₹ 1,500/-

b) For Group Delegation:

i) For 5 participants – ₹ 7,000/-

ii) For 10 participants – ₹ 12,000/-

For 9th to 12th students:

I) Inclusive of food and accommodation

a) For individual registration – ₹ 1,500/-

b) For group delegation:

i) For 5 Participants – ₹ 7,000/-

ii) For 10 participants – ₹ 12,000/-

II) With food and without accommodation

a) For individual participation – ₹ 1,000/-

b) For group delegation:

i) For 5 participants – ₹ 4,000/-

ii) For 10 participants – ₹ 8,000/-

All Campus Ambassadors registering ten or more delegates will be given following discounts:

  • More than 10 participants: 25% discount on delegate fees

  • More than 20 participants: 50% discount on delegate fees

  • More than 25 participants: 100% discount on delegate fees with ₹100 off for all delegates registering through the Campus Ambassador. The Campus Ambassador with the maximum number of delegates will receive an exclusive memento, be named the “Campus Ambassador to Bharat Ratna Late Shri. Atal Bihari Vajpayee MNLU-CS 4th National Youth Parliament, 2026″ and be recognized via a social media post of Bharat Ratna Late Shri.   • Day 02: Committee Proceedings- III & IV, Valedictory Ceremony- 29th March, 2026.
