Entrepreneurship for Law Students Workshop HPNLU Shimla

The Himachal Pradesh National Law University (HPNLU), Shimla, under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Priti Saxena, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, organized a dynamic workshop today on the theme “Entrepreneurship for Law Students.” The event aimed to equip students with practical entrepreneurial skills and insights in preparation for their participation in the upcoming Legal Technology Start-Up Competition, Lexcelerate 25.

The workshop was led by two distinguished speakers: Dr. Deepak Menaria, Founder of Lemon School of Entrepreneurship and a renowned mentor, investor, and start-up ecosystem builder, and Mr. Swastik Grover, an expert in integrating entrepreneurial strategies within legal careers. Dr. Menaria emphasized the importance of entrepreneurial thinking in the legal field, particularly highlighting innovation, adaptability, and value creation as key components for success. Mr. Grover’s session inspired participants to view law not just as a profession but as a platform for creating impactful ventures, with an emphasis on purpose-driven initiatives.

The workshop was coordinated by faculty members Dr. Esha Sharma, Dr. Deepika Gautam, Dr. Praveen Kumar, and Dr. Bharat Barowalia, who actively engaged with students throughout the event. HPNLU continues to uphold its commitment to holistic education and fostering industry-academia collaborations that shape future-ready legal professionals.
