HNLU mediation team wins the FDI Mediation Moot 2022


The HNLU negotiation team comprising of Amrutha Desikan, Anan G., and Masooma Rizvi has been adjudged as the winner of the 2022 FDI Mediation Moot.

Masooma Rizvi bagged the award of Best Negotiator too.

The competition was held online from Friday, 25 March to Sunday, 27 March 2022. The mediation problem was based on an investor-state dispute under the investment chapter of a free trade agreement.

Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow adjudged runners up at 6th Symbiosis Law School National Moot Court Competition


The team representing Faculty of Law, University of Lucknow participated in the 6th Symbiosis Law School National Moot Court Competition and was adjudged as *Runner Up* .

The moot proposition constituted of Constitutional Law coupled with Draft Data Protection Bill, 2021 (Joint Parliamentary Committee Report), Information Technology Act, 2000 and IT Rules, 2021.

The University was represented by third year students Himashri Yadav, Huzaifa Shaikh and Rishabh Anand, where Himashri Yadav was speaker number 1, Huzaifa Shaikh was Speaker number 2 and Rishabh Anand was the Researcher.

The team also pocketed *₹30,000* /- cash prize along with *three 1 year EBC subscription* and *50% discount* on Lawctopus.
