RGNUL wins 11th Amity International Moot Court Competition, 2021


A team comprising Vansh Bhatnagar, Tvesha Gupta and Aman Malhotra representing Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab adjudged as the overall winners of the 11th Amity International Moot Court Competition, 2021 organized by Amity Law School, Noida.

SLSH emerges as the RUNNERS-UP at the 1st Navrachana University National Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2021


SLS-Hyderabad has emerged as the Runners-Up at the 1st Navrachana University National Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2021. The Team has also won the Best Memorial Award.

The team comprising Manisha Bharathi R, Spandana Reddy Bommu & R. B. Sneha, from Symbiosis Law School Hyderabad has emerged as Runners-up at the 1st Navrachana University National Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2021. The competition was organized by Navrachana University’s School of Business and Law and was held on the 22nd– 23rd October, 2021. A total of 12 teams participated during the preliminary rounds from various law schools across the country. The team cleared the preliminary round and got qualified to the semifinal round with 3 other teams. The team cleared the semifinal round going against fellow law students and presenting their case before the esteemed judges. Not only did the team emerge as runners up during the final rounds, but they also won the Best Memorial Award at the competition.

SLS Pune wins the FDI International Arbitration Moot, 2021 (South Asia Regional Rounds)


A team of SLS Pune (SLSP)  represented by Devika Radha (Oralist), Manasi Desai (Oralist), Shreya Mukherjee(Oralist), Jahanvi Sharma, and Harsh Khanchandani has won the South Asia Regional Rounds of the Foreign Direct Investment International Arbitration Moot, 2021.

Team SLSP won all four Preliminary Rounds scoring the highest number of points and then proceeded to win the knockouts to reach the finals.

The finals took place on 30th August 2021 between SLSP (Claimant – Team Alias: Sorensen) and RMLNLU (Respondent – Team Alias: Alfaro). The same was live-streamed on YouTube. SLSP won the South Asia Regionals and RMLNLU came runners up.

Furthermore, Devika Radha (ranked second-best advocate) and Manasi Desai (ranked fifth-best advocate) received Honourable mentions.

The team has now qualified for the global rounds which shall take place on October 28 – November 03, 2021 (virtually). RMLNLU-Lucknow, GLC-Mumbai, and NLSIU-Bangalore are the other teams that have qualified for the global rounds.


SLS Pune emerges Winners at the Vidhi Parivartan’s 1st National Moot Court Competition


SLS Pune has emerged Winners at the Vidhi Parivartan’s 1st National Moot Court Competition. The team comprised Sushma Rao, Mrinal Aiyappa, and Rachita Yedhula. All of them are currently in the fourth year of the five-year course at SLS Pune. SLS Pune faced Army Institute of Law, Mohali in the finals.

Rachita Yedhula was adjudged as the Best Researcher in the competition.

This year’s moot problem dealt with international refugee law and the problem of asylum. It also addressed migration during the COVID 19 pandemic and the responsibility of states wrt border closures and allowing entry to asylum seekers.

The competition was hosted virtually from 28th August, 2021 to 1st September, 2021.
