The Centre for Intellectual Property Rights, Institute of Law, Nirma University is organizing Shrujan 2017, an IP Fest on 18th November, 2017 (Saturday). The fest aims to bring the interface of Intellectual Property with cultural heritage of the country to the notice of the legal fraternity as well as other stakeholders by facilitating an academic discussion onTraditional Knowledge and Geographical Indication.
The University would be hosting renowned dignitaries from the industry having expertise and knowledge in the aforementioned arena for an insightful panel discussion. In addition to this, the Institute of law would be holding an exhibition, displaying registered Geographical Indications of Gujarat, to bestow this Fest with the aesthetics and the immense extravaganza of cultural heritage of the state of Gujarat, along with furthering the Institute’s aim of experiential learning.
