On 24.08.2015, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between India and Australia on cooperation in the field of education, training and research. The objective of the MoU is to intensify existing partnership between India and Australia in higher education & research, including technical and professional education, schools, vocational education and training and open up new and innovative areas of cooperation. A total joint financial commitment of up to $ 1.0 million AUD was agreed between the two countries for various activities under Educational Cooperation.
