On 23.05.2015, the Joint Parliamentary Committee, under the Chairmanship of Shri S.S. Ahluwalia, sought views/ suggestions from various public bodies, organizations, associations, individuals and other stakeholders on the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Second Amendment Bill, 2015), which has been uploaded on the website of Lok Sabha (http://164.100.47.134/committee/other commiittees.aspx), The comments are invited till 08.06.2015. The Memoranda submitted to the Committee would form part of the records of the Committee, however, the decision of the Committee in this regard shall be final.
