On 07.05.2015, a loan agreement of $31 million was signed between the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Government of India. The objective of the Agreement is to boost water availability in selected river basins in Karnataka through implementation of Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) and improve water efficiency in irrigation.
