For over a decade, the society has triumphed in systematically organising, administering and executing multiple revered events meticulously disseminated throughout the year. It’s been our utmost privilege to have been graced by eminent legal luminaries and distinguished speakers, who take their precious time out to preside over and engage with the participants and student group.

With several workshops, events and National Moot Court Competitions, we frequently witness glorious participation and representations from law students across the globe.

Law School entails theoretical learning and a cardinal part also encompasses articulation and elocution of those formulated arguments. And to accredit on this, one needs mastery over their analytical and reasoning competency. Hereupon, the enriching experience of a well-curated Moot Court Competition comes into the scenario. It extends a blended exhibition of written and oral expertise, introducing a new wave of learning and representation. Providing just equitable familiarity before one dives into the profession.

With immense pride, Amity Law School, Noida presents the Indian Qualifying Rounds of the coveted Philip C Jessup Moot Court Competition, 2023 jointly hosted with International Law Student Association (ILSA) for the sixth consecutive time. The event is scheduled from 23rd February to 26th February 2023 in Virtual Mode.

An unparalleled portrayal where partakers exchange ideas and delve into intricate international matters to depict various notable concerns and areas to the utmost importance and exigency. A methodology to carve and engrave crucial credentials in regard to wide-ranging subjects within the upcoming lawyers.

This years’s moot court argument will revoke around the fictitious International Court of Justice (ICJ) where the contenders will engross the commencement of the competition over the case concerning the Clarent Belt entrancing the interpretation of a peace treaty, deadly attacks in alleged occupied territory, unilateral economic sanctions, and the legal consequences of failing to dispose of hazardous waste properly.

The inclusion of environmental provisions in bilateral and regional trade agreements has helped harmonise environmental regulations between developed and developing countries. More advanced economies can provide resources and institutions for capacity building and can encourage less-developed partners to strengthen environmental regulations.

The competition would definitely instigate the participants into engaging and interpreting the issue from numerous perspectives and thus, we anticipate that this would curate a solution with a focused well-formulated structural approach to the concerned subject.
