Appoints Chief Risk, Audit & Compliance and Chief Digital Officers
Mumbai, 7 October 2022: Khaitan & Co, a leading full-service law firm has announced two key appointments to its leadership. Abhishek Sanyal joins the firm as the Chief Risk, Audit & Compliance Officer to spearhead the firm’s compliance and risk strategy, and Rohit Shukla comes on board as the Chief Digital Officer to lead key digital initiatives. As accomplished professionals in their respective fields, they bring in significant experience that will strengthen the firm’s operations and drive greater efficiencies.

With twenty years of experience in risk, audit and compliance functions, Abhishek has held leadership positions in various multinational banking and financial services organisations. His expertise has been to design and implement effective risk, audit, and compliance frameworks, complemented by efficient processes that result in intuitive products, a focused team, engaged clients and partners.
Rohit specialises in legal tech, digital transformation, technology product development, project management, and leveraging technology for cost and client service improvements. Prior to joining the firm, he was the Chief Technology Officer and Co-founder of a legal-tech start-up.
