IDIA Delhi Chapter is pleased to announce the second edition of its Article Writing Competition on the theme Intellectual Property Rights, in collaboration with Saraf and Partners and Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property and Competition. Ms. Gayatri Roy, Partner at Saraf and Partners has graciously agreed to act as a judge for the competition. One of the leading law practitioners of the country, her predominant practice areas include Intellectual Property Law as well as Telecommunications, Media and Technology law.  IDIA Delhi Chapter is also offering exciting prizes to the top performers of the competition. The Winner of the Competition shall be awarded with an Internship opportunity with Saraf and Partners. The Second and Third Position Holders shall get an opportunity to intern at Centre for Innovation, Intellectual Property and Competition. The top five participants shall also be awarded a Certificate of Merit by IDIA Delhi Chapter.
Following is a non-exhaustive list sub-themes that participants can consider for their submissions:

  1. IP and Artificial Intelligence in India
  2. IP and Big Data Protection in India
  3. IP and Competition Law in India
  4. IP and COVID 19- Innovation and Access Dimension in India
  5. IP in India’s FTAs/IIAs

Interested Participants can register for the competition from 25th of April 2022 to 2nd May 2022. The submission deadline of the article would be 29th of May 2022. Submission deadline can be extended on a case to case basis for accommodating academic conflicts owing to the schedule of participants’ university. The final results shall be declared in June 2022.
