SLS Pune has emerged Winners at the 9th RGNUL National Moot Court Competition, 2021. The team comprised Vaishnavi Venkatesan, Vanshika Poddar, and Winona D’Souza. All of them are currently in the third year of the five-year course at SLS Pune. SLS Pune faced Amity Law School, Madhya Pradesh in the finals.
Winona D’Souza was adjudged as the Best Speaker in the competition.
This year’s moot problem dealt with contemporary issues of constitutional law and criminal law, with specific reference to the constitutional validity of and criminal liability with regards to the research and practice of human reproductive cloning.
The competition was hosted virtually by the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Patiala from 19th March, 2021 to 21st March, 2021.
