Notification of lockdown period from 22-03-2020 to 31-03-2020 — Telangana Shops and Establishments Act, 1988 — Declaration of paid holidays for the lockdown period and restriction of business hours
In exercise of powers conferred under Section 13 and Section 31(2) of the Telangana Shops and Establishment Act, 1988 Government of Telangana had ordered all shops and establishment other than those exempted to be closed during notified lock down period i.e. from 22-03-2020 to 31-03-2020 in public interest and shall be declared as paid holiday for all categories of employees.
Business hours of shops doing the business of essential commodities to close by 6.30 PM in Public interest, however certain categories of shops and establishments were exempted from restriction of closing time of 6.30 PM.
