About the Journal

The “E-Journal on Advanced Research in Intellectual Property Laws” will be an annual student edited, double-blind peer reviewed open-access journal, which is an initiative by the members of Centre for Advanced Research in Intellectual Property Laws (CARIP), NLUJAA. Through this journal, we are proposing to create a fair and equitable regime in regards to intellectual property law and also to analyse the dynamic confluence of the academic and the transactional world presented by these laws.

Our main objective is to build a global initiative for research and development in the area of Intellectual Property Laws. This online journal will predominantly put emphasis and focus on various contemporary, critical and often overlooked areas of intellectual property law which in turn is affecting the formulation, regulation and implementation of law and policy in this area.

We invite contributions from practitioners in the legal profession, undergraduate and post-graduate students, researchers, academicians and other stake holders in the form of articles, essays, notes, commentaries and reviews for the forthcoming issue.

Subject Area:

The submissions may relate to any field in IPR including Trademarks, Copyright, GI, Designs, Patent, Plant Varieties or other related contemporary IPR issues.

We seek contributions in the following forms:

  • Articles (between 3,000-7,000 words including footnotes).
  • Essays (2000-3000 words including footnotes).
  • Book Reviews (1000-2000 words including footnotes).
  • Case Commentaries (1000-3000 words including footnotes).
