The ILNU team comprising Shruti Verma, Anusha Shekhawat and Deepak’s Singh’s Jadoun has been adjudged as WINNERS of the Commonwealth Legal Education Association (CLEA) Moot Court Competition (India rounds) 2019 held at Kerala. The team has also won the citation for the Second Best Memorial.
Commonwealth Moot Court Competition is one of the most prestigious International Moot Court Competitions. By virtue of winning the national rounds, our team has qualified for the World Rounds to be held in Zambia. ILNU  hopes that the winning streak of the team will not be hindered by any level of competition. The team has made ILNU proud and we wish to win the world rounds as well.
The team stood 2nd in the preliminary rounds, whereas defeated Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai and NLIU Bhopal in the quarters and semi-finals respectively. In the final rounds, the team defeated NLIU Bhopal and has qualified to represent India in the 21st Commonwealth Moot Court Competition to be held in Zambia in April, 2019.
