“It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it– Aristotle”

Debate not only provides young adults with the skills to successfully tackle the world around them but gives them the ability to intelligently question that which they believe to be true or false. It offers an engaging and relevant output to practice structuring an argument, providing a clear argument, evidence to support your claims and convincing your audience to agree with you. All these skills give young adults the confidence to express their opinions in a coherent, considered and structured way whilst also affording their fellow peers the time and respect that they deserve in voicing their opinions.

Symbiosis has always believed in creating individuals who are ready to constantly question and evaluate the world around them in order to usher in a process of change. Moreover, it’s motto of ‘Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam’ embodies the aspiration of a true global citizen. To further a healthy culture of discourse inside the Symbiosis family along with others outside of it, the Debating Society of Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA presents Symiksha 2019 – First Edition of National Parliamentary Debate Competition from January 05-07, 2019.

The event promises to be an enlightening amalgamation of ‘VAAD, VIVAAD and PRATIVAAD’ that will enrapture anyone who seeks to learn.
