The team from Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to Be University’s New Law College, Pune comprising of Simarjeet Sinha Satia (3rd year), Deepali Mahawar (3rd year), Shradha Maheshwari (3rd year) and Kunal Mansharamani (2nd year) emerged as Runners up at Pravin Gandhi’s 9th Nyayavapokan Trial Advocacy and Judgment Writing Competition 2018 held from October 11- 14 at Mumbai.

About: The National Trial Advocacy & Judgment Writing Competition provides a unique platform for law students to hone their advocacy and research skills in the form of a criminal trial. Participation in a criminal trial and judgment writing competition can be an eye-opening and exciting experience for a budding lawyer. It brings one face to face with the nuances of criminal law while promoting quick thinking and giving a novice a chance to glimpse into the exhilarating realm of trials which consists of examination of witnesses and evidence amongst other things.
