The team comprising of Palak Jain, Bhavya Sharma and Shubhsmita from Institute of Law, Nirma University have stood as Runners Up in the 4th National Moot Court Competition organised by Rajeev Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur  (RGSoIPL) from 31st August-2nd September 2018.

The moot problem was based on Artificial Intelligence, Patent, Copyright and Performer’s Right along with Constitution and there were 38 participating teams including NLIU Bhopal, GNLU, NLU Nagpur, HNLU  UPES Dehradun, Christ University. The final rounds were adjudged by Justice Pratibha Singh, Judge, High Court of Delhi and Justice S. Sen, Judge, High Court Calcutta.

This is the first time that the Institute has participated in this moot court competition and now has this achievement to its name. The team had put in a lot of hard work and patience into the competition, as a result they emerged as runners up.
