K.C. Law College (K.C.L.C) affiliated to the University of Mumbai and approved by the Bar Council of India, was established in the year 1955 by the HSNC Board. It is one of the premier institutes of law in the city and has been growing in leaps and bounds. The College envisions an elevated standard and quality of legal education. It is also considered to be a distinctive and distinguished law institution with a strong national and competitive focus.

Hosted by one of the most prestigious law colleges in Mumbai, the K.C. National Moot Court Competition has always provided a rich platform for budding lawyers to hone their public speaking skills and mould students into global leaders in legal field. The competition challenges students through complex problems to carry out extensive research and bring out strong arguments.

The K.C. Law College has organised National Moot Court Competitions successfully for over a decade, with participation from law colleges across the country. Last year, we were delighted to have esteemed Bombay High Court Judges Mr. Justice M.S. Sonak and Mr. Justice G.S. Patel to judge the final round of the event, while designated Senior Advocates of the Bombay High Court and Partners of large size firms judge the preliminary round.

The 12th Edition of our National Moot Court is based on the Competition Act and the Constitution of India. This competition aims to challenge students to understand the complex corporate ties in the backdrop of anti-competitive trade practices prevalent in the society that are vitiating the economic efficiencies of the country’s resources and are against the very spirit of competition.
