Mooting Achievements: 
Amrit Mahal , Priyattama Bhanj, Keshav Pareek (all fifth year students) and Devashri Mishra (2nd year) for winning the GNLU Securities Moot. Amrit Mahal was also adjudged as the Best Speaker of the finals. On a different Note, Priyattama Bhanj was the one who featured in Kon Banega Crorepati on 25th September 2017.

The team comprising of Tejas Rajendra Popat (3rd year), Adya Jha (3rd year), Jasel Mundhra (3rd year) and Md Faizan Jawed (2nd year) emerged as the Runner up at the 24th MC Chagla Moot Court Competition, 2017.  Jasel Mundhra also won Best Researcher Award.

The team comprising of Shivangi Sanjay (2nd year), Saina Mohapatra (2nd year), Shubhra Baghel  (2nd year) and Shretima Shrivastava (2nd year) finished as the Quarter Finalist (out of 61 teams) at the 17th Henry Durant Moot Court Competition, 2017 (National Rounds) held in ISIL, Delhi.

The team comprising of Saurav Rajurkar  (2nd year) , Aditya Agrawal  (2nd year), Chinmay Kalgaonkar  (2nd year) and Tamalika Bera  (2nd year) finished as the quarter finalist at the 12th Law Asia International Moot Court Competition, 2017 held in Tokyo, Japan!

Debates and Quizzes:

NUJS students Ramya Chandra and Arandrijit Basu were adjudged runner up in 8th edition of Dr. MS Ramaiah Memorial Parliamentary Debate 2017. Arandrijit was adjudged as Best Speaker. Another team from first year Aniket Mookherji  and Soham Chakraborty  broke 10th at the same tournament and reached Quarter-Finals.

Nikhil Iyer (4th year) Ananya Kumar (3rd year) came as finalists in 9th edition of IIT Bombay Inter Varsity Debate Tournament.

Pranay Lekhi and Jatin Kadam broke 2nd at GNLU Debate and reached semi finals! Pranay finished Best Speaker of the tournament, and Jatin finished 4th best.

CLPR Conquest Quiz 2017 Eastern Regional Round held in our college, with complete sweep by NUJS where team of Surya Vashist (2nd year) and Rishabh Dev (1st year) finishing 3rd, Kshitij Maheshwari & Pranaav Gupta (both 5th years) finishing second and the team of Kartik Chauhan (4th year) & Abhinav (5th year) winning the quiz.
Suchisubra Sarkar, Shourya Dasgupta & Nikhil (all fourth year) reached octo-finals at the 8th United Asian Debating Championship in Cambodia!
Additionally, Shourya also finished 13th on speaker tabs and 5th on reply speaker tab. Suchi and Nikhil also finished within the top 40 speakers among all the speakers in the competition.
