The Ministry of Labour and Employment has revised the National Floor Level Minimum Wage (NFLMU) from existing Rs. 137/- to Rs. 160/-per day w.e.f. 01.07.2015. The objective of the National Floor Level Minimum Wage (NFLMU) is to reduce the disparity in minimum wages across the country and it is revised from time to time on the basis of rise in Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (CPI-IW).
