{"id":92562,"date":"2016-12-15T13:56:19","date_gmt":"2016-12-15T08:26:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/?p=92562"},"modified":"2016-12-15T13:59:46","modified_gmt":"2016-12-15T08:29:46","slug":"amu-law-society-review-2016-17-call-for-papers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/blog\/post\/2016\/12\/15\/amu-law-society-review-2016-17-call-for-papers\/","title":{"rendered":"AMU Law Society Review 2016-17: Call for Papers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><u><\/u>The Aligarh\u00a0Muslim University\u2019s Law Society aims to provide an active forum that inspires academicians, researchers, students, and practitioners to express and share their experiences and ideas on socio-legal issues through the medium of journal \u2018Law Society Review\u2019.\u00a0The Review welcomes well researched, quality contributions on contemporary and relevant issues in all areas of Law and related subjects for its forthcoming issue: AMU Law Society Review 2016-17.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Authors are invited to submit their Articles\/Research Papers to the Editor at the following e-mail id:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:lawsocietyeditor.amu@gmail.com\">lawsocietyeditor.amu@gmail.com<\/a>\u00a0for publication.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><u>Submission Guidelines<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1.All submissions (in hard copy and e-mail) must be accompanied by:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">a. A covering letter with the name(s) of the author(s), official designation, institution\/affiliation, the title of the paper and contact number.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">b.\u00a0A Certificate that the paper submitted is a piece of original research work and has not been copied or published or submitted for publication elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">c.\u00a0An abstract of not more than 200 words.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2.Articles should be in English language only and in conformity with the mentioned rules for submission.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3.Electronic submissions (on email) should ideally be made in Word Format (.doc)\/ (docx).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">4.\u00a0The main text must be in Times New Roman , Font Size 12 with 1.5 line spacing and the citations should strictly conform to the rules in The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (20th edition) or ILI citation.\u00a0This mode of citation must be strictly followed otherwise the paper shall not be considered for publication.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5.The word limit for articles is approximately 1500-2000 (including footnotes). Authors are requested to follow the word limit strictly, otherwise the submissions shall be rejected.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">6.\u00a0In case of references from websites, complete URL address, along with the last date of accessing the website should be mentioned. 7.\u00a0The Articles\/Research Papers shall be evaluated and scrutinised by an expert editorial board comprising faculty teachers. A mere submission of a contribution shall not confer any claim for publication.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">8.\u00a0Editorial Board, A.M.U Law Society Review, reserves the right to take decision to publish the Articles\/ Research Papers or not.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">9.\u00a0Submission of a paper shall be taken to imply that it is an unpublished work and is not being considered for publication elsewhere.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">10.\u00a0Papers \/articles are to be submitted in duplicate.\u00a0<strong>A soft copy of the article\/paper should be sent along with two hard copies<\/strong>.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>Authors are requested to verify references and quotations before submitting the papers.\u00a0It is mandatory to submit both soft and hard
