(Ms) No. 51, \u00a0Personnel and Administrative Reforms (FR.III) Department. dated 16.05.2011.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2.\u00a0 G.O. \u00a0(Ms) No 61, Personnel and Administrative \u00a0Reforms (FR\u00b7&#8221;&#8217;) Department, \u00a0dated 16.06.2011.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3.\u00a0 G.O. (Ms) No.138, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (FR\u00b7IV) Department. \u00a0dated 19.11 2013.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ORDER:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In \u00a0the\u00a0 \u00a0Government \u00a0Orders\u00a0 \u00a0first and second read above, orders \u00a0were issued enhancing\u00a0 \u00a0the \u00a0maternity\u00a0 \u00a0leave \u00a0from \u00a090 days \u00a0to 160 days to married\u00a0 women \u00a0government servants, \u00a0with less \u00a0than \u00a0two \u00a0surviving \u00a0children, \u00a0which may \u00a0be spread \u00a0over\u00a0 from\u00a0 the pre-confinement rest to post-confinement\u00a0 \u00a0recuperation, \u00a0with full pay, at the option of the women Government \u00a0Servant. Accordingly, \u00a0in the Government \u00a0Order third read above, Rule 101(a) of\u00a0the Fundamental\u00a0 \u00a0Rules was \u00a0also amended.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. The \u00a0Government,\u00a0 \u00a0after careful \u00a0consideration, \u00a0based on the announcement \u00a0made in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly by the Hon&#8217;ble Chief Minister on 01.09.2016, \u00a0under Rule \u00a0110 of \u00a0the Legislative Assembly Rules order that the \u00a0maternity leave admissible to married women government servants with less than two surviving \u00a0children, which is \u00a06 months (180 days) \u00a0at present, be enhanced to 9 months (270 days), with full pay, which may be spread \u00a0over from \u00a0the pre-confinement rest to post\u00b7confinement recuperation, \u00a0at the option of the women \u00a0government servant. The women \u00a0 government servants who \u00a0proceeded on maternity\u00a0leave, prior to the date of issue of this order and continue to be \u00a0on that leave as\u00a0of now, are also eligible for availing \u00a0maternity leave up to 9 months (270 days), in total.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. \u00a0Necessary amendments \u00a0to the Fundamental \u00a0Rules will be \u00a0issued \u00a0separately.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">(BY ORDER \u00a0OF THE \u00a0GOVERNOR)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: right;\">The Personnel and Administrative Reforms (FR.
