G.S.R. 987(E).\u2014<\/strong>In supersession of the Secretariat\u2019s Notification No. 7\/1\/2014-ISC(Pt.) dated 7th December, 2015, the Prime Minister has approved the following composition of the Inter-State Council in terms of Clause 2 of the Inter-State Council Order, 1990:-<\/p>\n

2. The Standing Committee will :-<\/p>\n

(i) have continuous consultation and process matters for consideration of the Council;<\/p>\n

(ii) process all matters pertaining to Centre-State Relations before they are taken up for consideration in the Inter-State Council;<\/p>\n

(iii) monitor the implementation of decisions taken on the recommendations of the Council; and<\/p>\n

(iv) consider any other matter referred to it by the Chairman\/Council.<\/p>\n

3. The Standing Committee may, if necessary, invite experts and persons eminent in specific fields to have the benefit of their views while deliberating upon the related subjects.<\/p>\n
