to constitute the Council for Trade Development and Promotion with immediate effect.<\/span><\/p>\n<p ><span lang=\"EN-US\">The term of reference for the Council is as follows:<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<ul  type=\"disc\">\n<li   ><span lang=\"EN-US\">provide a platform to State      Governments and UTs for articulating their perspectives on trade policy; &nbsp;<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<li   ><span lang=\"EN-US\">provide a platform to Government      of India for apprising State Governments and UTs about international      developments affecting India\u2019s trade potential and opportunities and to      prepare them to deal with evolving situation; <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<li   ><span lang=\"EN-US\">help State Governments develop and      pursue export strategies in line with national Foreign Trade Policy; <o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/li>\n<li   ><span lang=\"EN-US\">provide a platform for deliberation      on the need for infrastructure developments to fill the gaps which      adversely affect India\u2019s exports etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p ><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Council shall comprise of Chairperson and several other members, and shall meet atleast once every year at <st1:city w:st=\"on\"><st1:place w:st=\"on\">Delhi<\/st1:place><\/st1:city> or anywhere in the country.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p ><span
