He was born on <st1:date month=\"8\" day=\"23\" year=\"1953\" w:st=\"on\">23-08-1953<\/st1:date> and graduated in Law from <st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:placetype w:st=\"on\">University<\/st1:placetype>  of <st1:placename w:st=\"on\">Allahabad<\/st1:placename><\/st1:place> in the year 1975. He enrolled himself as an Advocate on <st1:date month=\"8\" day=\"4\" year=\"1976\" w:st=\"on\">08-04-1976<\/st1:date> and thereafter practiced at Allahabad High Court during the period 1976-1985 and at Supreme Court during the period 1985-1992 on Civil and Constitutional side. He served as Special Counsel, High Court since 1998-2001 and was elevated as permanent Judge on <st1:date month=\"4\" day=\"24\" year=\"2001\" w:st=\"on\">24-04-2001<\/st1:date>. He also served as the Chairman, Allahabad High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court and State Mediation Monitoring Committee and Computerization Committee, High Court and State e-Court Steering Committee. Later, he assumed the charge as a Judge in the Rajasthan High Court on <st1:date month=\"7\" day=\"30\" year=\"2014\" w:st=\"on\">30-07-2014<\/st1:date>, and was appointed Acting Chief Justice in the same Court on <st1:date month=\"6\" day=\"8\" year=\"2014\" w:st=\"on\">06-08-2014<\/st1:date>.<o:p><\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n<p><\/p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 24-03-2015, Hon\u2019ble Mr. Justice Sunil Ambwani took oath as the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court.
