The signing of the agreement in Services &amp; Investment reflects <st1:country-region w:st=\"on\">India<\/st1:country-region>\u2019s deep commitment to have a strong institutional architecture for economic ties with ASEAN. The object of the Agreement is to open up opportunities of movement of both manpower and investments between <st1:country-region w:st=\"on\">India<\/st1:country-region> and ASEAN. All the ASEAN\u2019s have signed the agreement except Philippines, which is expected to sign soon.<\/p>\n<p ><b>Key features of the Trade in Service Agreement are&nbsp;<\/b><\/p>\n<ul  type=\"disc\">\n<li   >It contains all the features of a modern and      comprehensive agreement on Services and is in line with the other      bilateral agreements that <st1:country-region w:st=\"on\">India<\/st1:country-region>      has signed so far.<\/li>\n<li   >Some important Articles in the Agreement are the ones      on transparency, national treatment, increasing participation of      developing countries, review, dispute settlement, denial of benefits etc.<\/li>\n<li   >Both <st1:country-region w:st=\"on\">India<\/st1:country-region>      and <st1:place w:st=\"on\"><st1:placename w:st=\"on\">ASEAN<\/st1:placename> <st1:placename w:st=\"on\">Member<\/st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st=\"on\">States<\/st1:placetype><\/st1:place>      have taken GATS plus commitments in various Services and modes of supply.<\/li>\n<li   >A brief annex on Movement of Natural persons has been      included in the Agreement, which helps to provide commercially meaningful      market across in ASEAN for our professionals.
