He would assume the charge of the office on <st1:date year=\"2015\" day=\"17\" month=\"1\" w:st=\"on\">17-01-2015<\/st1:date>, as the present Chief Justice Muzammel Hossain will retire on <st1:date year=\"2015\" day=\"16\" month=\"1\" w:st=\"on\">16-01-2015<\/st1:date>. Justice Sinha is known for a number of landmark judgments including those on the killing of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the 5th and 13th amendments to the Constitution.<o:p><\/o:p><\/p>\n<p
