Kerala Law Academy Law College going to celebrate the birth centenary of its Vice President Adv. K.Ayyappan Pillai and organize a meeting to honour him. Mr. Oomman Chandy, the Chief Minister of Kerala will inaugurate the function on 7th<\/sup> July 2014. Different personalities from political-judicial-academic fields will add colour to the event.<\/p>\n

Adv. K.Ayyappan Pillai is known for his eminence as an advocate, social worker and as a renowned freedom fighter. He was born on 24th<\/sup> May 1914 in the capital city of Kerala. He attained his law degree from the Government Law College, Trivandrum. He was of immense support to Dr. N.Narayanan Nair (Director, Kerala Law Academy) in building up and moulding the college and served as a backbone of this great venture. He is an indispensable personality in the history of the college, which adds colour to celebrate his 100th<\/sup> birthday. Sri. Ayyappan Pillai is a man who has given life to Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s words, \u201cMy life is my message\u201d. The alumni association of the college, LAFSA will conduct a cultural event in association with the celebrations.<\/p>\n
