Prof. Dr.\u00a0S.S. Singh , Director , NLIU welcomed the chief guest Hon\u2019ble Justice P.P. Noelekar , Lokayukta , State of Madhya Pradesh after the Convenor, Ms. Smriti Tripathi\u2019s welcome note. Juris Corp was represented by Ms. Veena Sivaramakrishnan, Partner at Juris Corp who elucidated the lengthy discussions at Juris Corp on the complex moot problem for this year.\u00a0 The Chief Guest in his address elaborated how important moot court competitions like these are for familiarizing the students of the intricacies of legal system.<\/p>\n<p>The Competition along with its prestigious trophy has a total cash prize amount of Rs. 10,000. The Preliminary Rounds were judged by over 35 coveted judges from across the country.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.scconline.com\/FILES%2f2014%2f09%2fCopyofIMG4898.JPG.axdx\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><b>Day 2<\/b> : After the breathe taking competitive prelims, the following teams made it to the Semi finals:<\/p>\n<p>ILS Pune<\/p>\n<p>Symbiosis, Pune<\/p>\n<p>HNLU, Raipur<\/p>\n<p>NLU, Delhi<\/p>\n<div><b>Day 3<\/b>:<\/div>\n<div><b>10.00 \u00a0AM<\/b> :The Semi-Finals began as early as\u00a0<span tabindex=\"0\" data-term=\"goog_2103417338\">9.30 am<\/span>, with the meticulous management by the Moot Court Association. The rounds were matched-up as:<\/div>\n<div>ILS, Pune v. Symbiosis, Pune<\/div>\n<div>HNLU-R v. NLU-D<\/div>\n<div>While the ILS v. Symbi is an all boys &#8216;polite&#8217; fighting over proving\u00a0<i>consensus ad idem<\/i>\u00a0and provisions of Companies Act and CCI; the HNLU v. NLUD had grilling on IPR and jurisdiction issue.<\/div>\n<p><b>12.00 PM<\/b> :\u00a0The results for the Semi-Finals are out. The finalists for this year are:<\/p>\n<div><b>HNLU, Raipur and ILS, Pune<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>1.00 PM :\u00a0<\/b>The Final Rounds have just begun. The intense atmosphere in the Auditorium is spreading the radiations in the whole NLIU Campus. Arguments from the braced up participants and erudite grilling by the judges is making the whole round very exciting.\u00a0<span style=\"color: #111111; font-family: 'Open Sans', Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;\">The Final Rounds are being judged by\u00a0<\/span>Hon&#8217;ble Mr. Justice A.K. Patnaik, former Supreme Court judge, Hon&#8217;ble Mr. Justice V. Gopala Gowda, Supreme Court judge, Mr. Mustafa Motiwala, Senior Partner, Juris Corp Advocates and Solicitors, Mr. Sandeep Mahapatra, Partner, Juris Corp Advocates and Solicitors and Prof. Dr. S.
