The 30th<\/sup> of September 2014 saw the war of words. The Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (X.I.M.E.) Kochi, (sister concern of X.I.M.E. Banglore) conducted the finals of  ALL KERALA MARIA PHILIP MEMORIAL  DEBATE COMPETITION 2014 at the X.I.M.E. campus.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Nine teams, the top three from the three Zonal Rounds, fought it out. Ms.Amrita Raj and Mr. Haaris Moosa from School of Legal Studies C.U.S.A.T. were declared the Runners up with a cash prize of Rs. 10,000 . And  Ms. Amrita Raj bagged the Best Debator award with a whopping Rs.12,000 cash prize.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

Assumption College , Changanasherry  won the First Prize and was represented by B.Maria and Asha Mariam Mathews and the duo headed home with Rs.20,000 and the Maria Philip Ever-rolling Trophy.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n

The Jury was headed by Mr. M.S.A. Kumar Managing Director A.V.T. Natural Products Ltd. and <\/font><\/span>past chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry(CII),Kerala chapter. Dr. Babu Sebastian Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam gave away the prizes.<\/font><\/o:p><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
