The Central Government in exercise of the powers conferred by section 78 of the Copyright Act, 1957 makes the Copyright (Amendment) Rules, 2016 in order to amend the Copyright Rules, 2013. They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. In the Copyright Rules, 2013 (herein after referred to as the principal rules), in rule 3, in sub-rule (1), in the proviso, for the words \u201cother member shall hold office\u201d, the words \u201cother members shall not hold office\u201d, shall be substituted.<\/li>\n
  2. In rule 70 of the principal rules, –<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    (a) in sub-rule (6), for the words, \u201cin relation to any goods\u201d, the words \u201cin relation to any goods or services\u201d, shall be substituted.<\/p>\n

    (b) in sub-rule (11), for the words and figures, \u201csub-rule (7)\u201d, the words and figures \u201csub-rule (10)\u201d, shall be substituted.<\/p>\n

    1. In principal rules, in the First Schedule, in FORM XIV, under the heading \u2018Statement of Particulars\u2019, in item 14, for the words \u201cin relation to any goods\u201d, the words \u201cin relation to any goods or services\u201d, shall be substituted<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
