The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission in exercise of the power conferred under clause (h) of subsection (1) of Section 79 read with clause (g) of sub-section (2) of Section 178 of the Electricity Act, 2003 makes the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Indian Electricity Grid Code) (Fourth Amendment) Regulations, 2016 to amend the Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (Indian Electricity Grid Code) Regulations, 2010. These Regulations shall come into force with effect from date of publication in Official Gazette except Sub-Regulation 6.3B which shall come into force on such date as the Commission may appoint by notification in the Official Gazette. A new Regulation 6.3A and 6.3B dealing with \u201cCommercial operation of Central generating stations and inter-State Generating Stations\u201d and \u201cTechnical Minimum Schedule for operation of Central Generating Stations and Inter-State Generating Stations\u201d has been inserted resepctively. Further, it also amended Regulation 6.1 and 6.2 of the Principal Regulations.<\/p>\n
