Winning entries will be published on the CDSE blog, and the authors of the top two entries (subject to availability of slots) will be offered internships at Mission Accessibility. SCC Times is the exclusive Media Partner for the competition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Nearly a decade after the enactment of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scconline.com\/DocumentLink.aspx?q=JTXT-0002776237\" target=\"_blank\">Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016<\/a>, questions of accessibility, reasonable accommodation and equal participation remain central to disability law in India. The Centre provides a platform for scholars, legal professionals, students and disability rights advocates to engage with questions of accessibility, legal rights and social equity, and works to influence rights-based policy frameworks at the national and international levels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Founded in 1999, National Law University, Jodhpur is one of India&#8217;s leading institutions for legal education, with a strong emphasis on academic and practical learning, quality teaching and research.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Eligibility<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>The competition is open to students pursuing three-year and five-year law courses.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Co-authorship is permitted, up to a maximum of two authors.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Submission Guidelines<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Essays must be between 1,500 and 2,000 words.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Footnotes are not permitted. All sources must be hyperlinked.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The similarity index of the submission must not exceed 15%.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The use of AI is strictly prohibited.
