It was established in 2004 as an Institute of excellence in technology and sciences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) is a premier National Law University located in New Delhi, India. It is one of the country&#8217;s leading institutions for legal education and research, ranked 2nd among law colleges and universities in India in the NIRF 2025 Law Rankings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">About the Event<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Lex Omnia Moot Court Competition, 2026 is presented by the Waves, BITS Pilani Goa and Moot Court Society, National Law University, Delhi.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Eligibility<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>All students enrolled bona fide in an undergraduate of Law i.e., 3 years\/ 5 years from any college or university shall be eligible for participation in the competition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Cross-institutional teams are allowed in the competition.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p> There is no cap on number of teams from one institution.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The maximum number of participants in a team shall be 3. The composition of a team shall be 2 speakers and 1 researcher.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">General Details<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Date: October 23-25, 2026.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Mode: Offline<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The competition will be held at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Submission Guidelines<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Each team shall prepare memorials for both sides: the Petitioner and the Respondent.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Each memorial shall contain the following, in order:<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt;\">Cover page<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt;\">Table of Contents<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt;\">Index of Authorities<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt;\">Statement of jurisdiction<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt;\">Statement of Facts (not exceeding one page)<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt;\">Statement of Issues<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt;\">Summary of Arguments<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt;\">Arguments Advanced<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-left: 18pt;\">Prayer (not exceeding one page)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The total memorial shall not exceed 30 pages. The section &#8216;Arguments Advanced&#8217; shall not exceed 15 pages.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The OC will conduct plagiarism checks. Any memorial with plagiarism exceeding 15% will be disqualified from further evaluation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Formatting Guidelines<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Typed on Standard A4 Size Paper.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Font Type (including footnotes): Times New Roman<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Font Size: 12<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Spacing: 1.5<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Font Size for footnotes: 10<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Spacing for footnotes: 1.0<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Margin: 1-inch margin on each side of the A4 Size page<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The citations shall comply with Bluebook method of citation &#8212; 21th Edition<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The footnotes shall include only relevant citations and any other information supporting the arguments shall not be included.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>The colour scheme of the cover page for the Respondent\/Defendant memorial shall be RED and for the Claimant\/Petitioner\/Claimant memorial shall be BLUE.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">The Memorials shall not contain any annexure, photographs, graphs, diagrams or any other representation of the like nature.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">How to Submit?<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li>\n<p>Teams are required to complete the registration process by filling out the Google Form provided.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>After filling out the registration form, teams must pay the registration fee through the payment link provided in the form and upload a screenshot of the payment confirmation in the form itself.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 3%;\">Upon successful verification of the registration and payment, the memorial submission link and unique team code will be sent to the registered teams via email within 12 hours.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"font-weight: bold;\">Awards<\/p>\n<ul
